Drum Sets

Drum sets come in many styles and sizes. They can be purchased for beginning and experienced drummers, with the ability to add on more drums as the drummer gets more adept. There are drum sets in smaller sizes for children as well as for homes that have limited space.

Drum sets can be found in both acoustic and electronic variations. Acoustic drums are the type most commonly seen in school and rock bands, and the type most people are familiar with. Electronic drums are a more specialized type of set, used most for studio recordings to attain different sounds than can be made with acoustic drums.

Drum sets usually come with a bass drum, tom and snare drums and cymbal sets. Their setup can be customized based on the needs of the drummer. It is possible to add more drums to a drum set for those who are more experienced and want extra sounds and drumming options while playing.
