Drum Kits

Drum kits are collections of drums, cymbals and other percussion instruments. They are set up around the drummer to be easily accessible while playing. Between acoustic and electronic kits, there is a wide variety of options for a drummer when shopping for a kit.

Drum kits were made to provide many drumming options to the drummer. By building the kit around the drummer's seat, he or she can reach different percussive instruments to provide the beats and sounds that underline most songs in a band. Customizing a drum set allows the drummer more comfort and variety while playing.

Drum kits are available to novices and experienced drummers alike. A kit usually comes with a bass drum, toms and snare drums and a set of cymbals. The combination of these types of drums will provide the basic sounds required from a drummer. Many other variants on those drums can be added to the drum kit for a richer percussive sound.
